Joe Corneli
I'm a US Citizen, born in 1979, in Steven's Point,
Wisconsin. My family moved to Minneapolis when I was 9.
When I was 16, I started taking classes full-time at the
University of Minnesota. From 1998-2002, I studied
mathematics at New College of Florida. After graduation,
I traveled to the University of Texas in Austin for their
math Ph. D. program. I left that program after two and a
half years without a terminal degree, but with a new
understanding of myself as an impassioned innovator. In
2010 I started a new Ph. D. program with the Knowledge
Media Institute at The Open University; my project's
working title is "Semantic Adaptivity and Social
Networking in Personal Learning Environments". I'm
