Raymond Puzio
Raymond Puzio holds a B.S. in physics from Columbia and a Ph.D. in
physics from Yale. He has been a post-doctoral fellow at the Center
for Gravitational Physics and Geometry at the Penn State and held
faculty positions at the University of Mississippi and the University
of Memphis. His current research interests include computable
analysis, the algebraic approach to differential geometry and its
application to mechanics, and metamathematics with an eye towards
proof assistant applications. In addition to his scientific
interests, Dr. Puzio is commmitted to seeing information technology
live up to its potential of universal access to the combined knowledge
of humanity. To this end, he has been active with PlanetMath,
authoring numerous encyclopaedia entries as well as involvement in the
organizational aspects of the project and is currently working on a
project to prepare electronic editions of scientific works in the
public domain.
